2017 Alaska Bikerun

The 16th Annual Florida to Alaska and back adventure is scheduled for July 1, 2017. The current group of 9 riders are ready to hit the road, and they have been emailing back and forth to become acquainted with one another. There is still time to throw your hat in the ring and join the existing group ... most of whom are experienced long distance riders. For a schedule of the trip and route, go to the website www.alaskabikerun.com. There is no registration fee but donations to SKI-HI Institute are welcome. (The suggested donation is $300 -- tax deductible.)

Here is a list of those who will make the trek to Alaska: Joseph Lee from Illinois; Harvey (Ray) Price from Vermont; Brian Revels (South Central Michigan), Cal Brown (St. Petersburg, Florida), Jim Pehler (Deltona, Florida), Steve and Mary Dahlin (Arlington Heights, Illinois). Paul Rose (Covington, Georgia), and Mike Tuccelli (St. Augustine area, Florida).

The next outing will most likely be scheduled for July 4, 2020.   This will be the "Big Enchilada" taking in the Alaska Highway in all of its majestic glory and points in interior Alaska, including Arctic Circle, Homer, Anchorage, and other points.

Mike Tuccelli has tirelessly led this ride for SKI-HI for 16 years now! He has been a great supporter of the SKI-HI Institute. On his website you can see many wonderful pictures of past trips to Alaska.

To make a donation to the SKI-HI Institute, please download a submission form and send it along with your check. Any donation is greatly appreciated.
